Hidden from the light that forms glacial
Patterns on a face you think to be plain,
The brutal arrogance of the world’s inane
Thought that you might be anything but special,
Hides a vibrant spirit that deserves to be seen,
That weaves grand tapestries with words,
That soars and dives and brushes the clouds like birds,
That bleeds of what you’ve done and where you’ve been.
The ocean breadths that fill the depths of your eyes
Tell of a life filled with rainbow skies.
